DELAND Myrtle A. Abernathy, 92, of East Howry Avenue, a resident of Volusia County since 1963, died Saturday at Coquina Center, Ormond Beach.
Mrs. Abernathy, a homemaker, was born in Fayetteville, Ga., and moved to this area from Titusville. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Edgewater and the New Smyrna Beach Shrinettes.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty Brooks, Edgewater; a grandson; and four great-grandsons. Memorial donations may be made to the New Smyrna Beach Shrinettes, 101 6th St., New Smyrna Beach, FL 31268. Settle-Wilder, Edgewater, is in charge.
