Joshua L. Ames age 31 of Richland Center passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at the UW Hospital in Madison after complications from a lifelong struggle with uncontrollable juvenile diabetes. He was born on March 8, 1978 in Janesville, WI the son of Ronald and Susan (Sweeney) Ames. A troubled youth who turned his life around, overcame many obstacles and found peace again with God. His passions in life were his family, friends and refound faith. He especially enjoyed playing with his niece and nephews. He is survived by his mother, Susan Ames of Lone Rock, 2 sisters, Nichole (Jeremy) Kienitz of Lone Rock and Melinda (Ted) Alexander of Albany, WI, a brother, Thomas (Andrea) Ames of Rochester, MN, a niece, Tegan Kienitz of Lone Rock, 2 nephews, Ryan and Tyler Alexander of Albany, WI, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is also survived by his loving Buckhorn Family. He was preceded in death by both maternal and paternal grandparents, John and Evelyn Ames and Harold and Dorothy Sweeney, his father, Ronald Ames, a nephew, Gage Kienitz, an uncle Jerry Ames, a cousin Dominic Pulcine and special friends, Nick and Lacie Wells. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at the Richardson-Stafford Funeral Home in Spring Green. Pastor Steven Schneider will officiate with burial in the Avoca Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the funeral home from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service at 11:00 A.M. "Forget my past, forgive my sins, for I have found Gods peace within. I'm with my dad and my little Gage too, And in the future I'll be with you."
