Rose Ann Albright, 86, of Ney, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2012, at GlennPark Assisted Living in Defiance, Ohio, surrounded by her loving family.
Rose Ann was born on January 1, 1926, in Ney, Ohio, the daughter of Arthur and Margaret (Shock) Hammersmith. She married Jean E. Albright on July 5, 1949, and he preceded her in death on April 7, 1979. Mrs. Albright graduated from Ney High School and was employed at All Star Products and then Oren Elliott Products, retiring in 1998. She was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church and active in the Altar Rosary Society. Rose was a loving caregiver to many family members and will be dearly missed.
Mrs. Albright is survived by one sister, Ethel Heinzeroth, Temperance, Michigan; and 18 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sisters, Freda Crites and Beatrice Arnold.
A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2012, at 10 a.m. in the St. Isidore Catholic Church, Ney, with Father Robert Kill officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Isidore Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 10, 2012, from 2-8 p.m. at the Krill Funeral Home in Bryan with a rosary service being held at 7:30 p.m.
