Vianna Byrd age 81, of the Huntsville Community passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at her home. She was born October 19, 1927 in the Norma Community to the late Riley Duncan and Tilda Lawson Duncan. She was a Member of the White Rock Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Bill Byrd: Son: Mark Byrd; Brother: Onvie Duncan; (5) Infant Brothers; (2) Sisters; Lettie Duncan and Nola Washam; (2) Infant Sisters.
She is survived by her children: Gary Byrd and wife Margaret, Charles Byrd and wife Cheryl, Bobby Byrd and wife Charlotte, Audie Byrd and wife Debbie, Marva Jean Ford and husband George; (2) Sisters: Erva Duncan and Elva Hutson; (1) Brother-in-law: Clifton Washam; (13) Grandchildren; (20) Great Grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and many other family and friends.
The family will receive friends for visitation Friday Evening, July 24, 2009, from 6:00 P.M., until time of funeral services at 8:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home in Huntsville with Bro. Jim West and Bro. Jeff Davis Officiating. Music will be provided by the Brimstone Boys, Jimmy and Sarah Byrd. Grave side services will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday Morning, July 25, 2009 at the Mill Branch Cemetery in the Norma Community.
Pallbearers are Byron Byrd, Gary Ray Byrd, Michael Washam, Charles Jeffery Byrd, Chris Ford and Chad Hutson. Honorary Pallbearers are Donald Hutson and Laymond Hutson. Four Oaks Funeral Home of Huntsville is in charge of the funeral arrangements for the family of Vianna Byrd
