Max L. Aldaz, 64, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at his home in La Luz. He was born Aug. 9, 1947, in Carrizozo to Isidro and Sarah (Chavez) Aldaz.
Max is survived by his wife of 45 years, Gloria M. Aldaz; daughter Robin McCall and her husband, Sheldon; son Gabriel Aldaz; granddaughter Layla Aldaz; grandson Andrew Gutierrez; sisters Margaret Trujillo, of Alamogordo, and Eloisa Seiler,p of Alamogordo; and brother Rudy and his wife, Cecilia Aldaz, of Santa Fe.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Isidro and Sarah Aldaz; sister Ruth Duran; brother Isidro Aldaz Jr.; and granddaughter Amanda Faith Gutierrez.
The rosary will be recited by Linda Villabisencio at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 705 Delaware Ave., in Alamogordo. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated following the rosary at 11 a.m. with Father Mike Lindsay as celebrant.
Inurnment will follow at Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery.
The Aldaz family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the arrangements. Cremation will take place at PCS.
