Manuel Aguilar Jr. passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at the age of 92. He was born January 22, 1919 in Karnes City, Texas to Manuel Aguilar Sr. and Guadalupe Pena Aguilar.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Angelita Yanez Aguilar; sons Guadalupe and Jesus Aguilar. He is survived by sons Abel Aguilar of LaPorte, Texas, Alfredo Aguilar (Rebecca) of Houston, Texas, Ruben Aguilar (Sara) of Sugar Land, Texas; daughters Alicia Solis (Lino) of Gregory, Texas, Ida Reyes (Al) of Waco, Texas, Irma DeLeon (Ray) of Ingleside, Texas, Luz Maria Risinger of Houston, Texas; brother Juan Aguilar of Ingleside, Texas; sister Ramona Mireles of Ingleside, Texas; 22 grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; special thanks to Legacy Hospice and nurse Kelly and also the Taqueria Guadalajara of Ingleside for their love and care.

Visitation will be held from 8:00a.m.-9:00p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00p.m. Friday, May 27, 2011 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home, Aransas Pass. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 1:00p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2011 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Gregory. Interment to follow in Gregory Cemetery.
