Nellie Decker
GREENUP – Nellie I. Decker, 88, of Greenup died at 10:20 a.m. Thursday (April 14, 1988) at Hilltop Nursing Home in Charleston.
The funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Jack Oak Church of God near Greenup with burial at Jack Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Bishop Funeral Home.
She was born Aug. 19, 1899, in Cumberland County, a daughter of David and Amillie Belle VanTassell Woolever. She married Minar Decker April 5, 1920, in Cumberland County. He died Jan. 5, 1977.
She is survived by one daughter, Dora Sherrick of Miami Lake, Fla.; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
One son, three brothers, two sisters and one grandchild preceded her in death.
Mrs. Decker was a member of the Jack Oak Church of God.
