Services for Emma M. Asper, 83, of Messiah Village, 100 Mt. Allen Drive, Upper Allen Township, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Myers Funeral Home, 37 E. Main St., Mechancisburg.She died Tuesday, June 17, 1997, in the village.Born Feb. 3, 1914, in Adams County, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Edna Leer Chronister and the widow of Ellis Asper.Mrs. Asper was a member of Harrisburg Brethren in Christ Church.Surviving are three daughters, Ella Rothenberger of Harrisburg, Cora Dunn of Leola and Shirley Morales of Orange, N.J.; two sons, Irvin and Clayton, both of Harrisburg; one brother, George Chronister of Harrisburg; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.The Rev. Glenn W. Dalton will officiate at Saturday's service. Burial will be in Air Hill Cemetery, Chambersburg.Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
