She was born April 27, 1936, the daughter of Lawrence and Zelpha L. Matthews Woolf. She was the cafeteria manager for the Madison Consolidated School System from 1965 until 2000. She was owner and operator of Rockin-A-Stables in Dupont, where she bred Appaloosa horses. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, bird watching and spending time with her horses.
She is survived by two sons, David C. Andres Sr. and Larry Dale Andres, both of Madison; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Gerald Andres, whom she married Jan. 16, 1954, and who died May 10, 2005; her parents; and one sister, Carol Underwood.
A graveside service and burial was at Dupont Cemetery.
