Private 204141 Benjamin J Rackham, Queen's Own (Royal West Kent Regiment) served his country 24 June 1916 to 17 March 1919. He was honourably discharged due to wounds and awarded the silver badge, British War and Victory medals. Benjamin died of septicaemia and pneumonia and was laid to rest aged 42 at St Stephen's Churchyard, Saltash leaving wife Sarah Jane of Sharpes Lane, Horringer, Bury St Edmunds.

Commemorated in perpetuity by Commonwealth War Graves Commission.
