Charles E. Blair Dies at Hospital
Charles Emery Blair, 72, well known Huntington County farmer who resided six miles east of Warren, died Thursday forenoon at the Wells County Hospital where he had been a patient for approximately one week.
Mr. Blair, a native of Jackson Township in this county, but a Huntington County resident since 1918, had been in failing health approximately one year with a heart ailment.
Surviving are the widow, Flora; six daughters, Miss June Blair at home; Mrs. Blanche Souers of R. R. 3, Warren, Mrs. Pearl James of R. R. 1, Jonesboro, Mrs. Neoma Cloud of R. R. 2, Warren, Mrs. Grace Stock, Jonesboro, and Mrs. Mary Ellen Beck, R. R. 1, Fairmount; three sons, Russell Blair, at home; Paul Blair, R. R. 2, Warren, and Elza Blair, R. R. 1, Poneto; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren
The body was taken to the H. Brown & Son Funeral Home in Warren and was returned to the residence this forenoon.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Boehmer Methodist Church, the Rev. Harold Zart officiating. Burial will be in the Mossburg Cemetery, near Liberty Center.
