Excerpt--Spencer O. Bailey, 71, died Feb. 3, 1962, in his home in Washington, Pa. He was born Nov. 2, 1891 in Grafton, a son of George and Bersheba Shackelford Bailey. He had lived in Washington since 1929. Mr. Bailey was with the Tygart Valley Glass Co. in the shipping dept until his retirement in March 1958. He was a WW I veteran. Surviving are five sisters, Mrs. Josephine Watkins of Washington, Mrs. Nora Poe, Mrs. Laura Grimes, Mrs. Mary E. Knotts, all of Grafton, Mrs. Gertrude Kee of Parsons; three brothers, Claude Bailey of Grafton, James L. Bailey and Fred Bailey, both of Thornton. Two brothers, William and Clark are deceased.
