Homer L. Booten, 91, of Montgomery, passed away Sept. 9, 2000 at Provena Mercy Center.
He was born on June 6, 1909 in Missouri. Homer was an avid hunter, fisherman and gardener. He was also a long time member of both the Fraternal of Eagles Club in Mt. Carmel and the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #621 in Albion. He was very family oriented as family was always important to him.
Survivors include his daughter, Sandra (Roland) Koepp of Montgomery; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Goldie Booten in 1998; and a daughter, Corenna Tapp; and his parents.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2000 from the Sturm Funeral Home, Grayville, Ill.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m., Tuesday at The Sturm Funeral Home. Interment will be in Antioch Cemetery, Cowling, Ill.
