Dear Friend. I have an obit for Jennie. It's too long to transcribe, but I'd like to leave you the informative part of it. It may be of interest to her family.
This is from The Tryon Star, 14 Sep 1911:
Last Saturday morning at one o'clock Miss Jeanne May Bavinger, after a lingering illness of several weeks of typhoid, passed off to the better world. . . . She was the only daughter of John and Ella Bavinger. She was born 13 Nov 1890 and died 9 Sep 1911 . . . . She came to Oklahoma with her parents about 11 years ago and has resided near Tryon ever since. . . . . She possessed a very loving and sunny disposition, and was smiling and happy in the last of life, and was a great lover of church music and played no other kind.
The funeral services were conducted by Rev.Meek of the Christian Union church . . . . The funeral procession and attendance were the largest ever attended at this cemetery, and the snow white casket was a great wreath of flowers, which her loving and kind friends had brought and sent to pay their respect to the one they all loved.
