James W. Armstrong, Jr. was a skilled marksman, mechanic and machinist with a profound appreciation for all types of antique machinery. He retired from a long career in heavy construction, paving America's Mid-western highways. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, two daughters, two sons, seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, his mother, one sister and two brothers. Jim Armstrong died at his home in Kansas City, Kansas. He was 69 years old.
