MINNIE C. ALBUS
Minnie C. Albus , 85, of Shelbina, formerly of Laddonia, died at 9:25 P.M. Thursday, June 20, 1996, at the Shelbina Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 7 P.M. at St. John's Catholic Church in Laddonia, with the Rev. Pat Quinn officiating. Burial will be in the Laddonia Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tim Power, Jim Albus, Jim Bradley, Herbert Knipfel and Jim Teague.
Visitation will be Monday from 5 P.M. until the service time at St. John's.
Mrs. Albus was born Dec. 30, 1910, in Audrain County (MO), the daughter of William B. and Nettie Bishop Wyss. On April 3, 1937, in Mexico, she married John William Albus, who preceded her in death on April 9, 1987.
Survivors include one daughter, Harriett Power of Shelbina; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Katherine Bradley and Marie Brown.
Mrs. Albus was a lifetime area resident and member of the St. John's Catholic Church. She was also a member of the St. John's Altar Society and the Happy Hustlers. In her free time, Mrs. Albus was an avid card player and loved to work cross-word puzzles.
