This is a bio from a Find A Grave contributor:
Raymond Adams was born in Fairfax, Oklahoma on November 26, 1912, the same year Arizona became a state. He married Bernice Brewer and had two sons, Raymond Lynn Adams and James Gordon Adams. They later divorced, and Raymond met Nancy Montiel Luna in Winslow, AZ. She had one small son, David Gilbert Luna, by a previous marriage. Raymond and Nancy fell in love, married and purchased a home in Winslow, AZ. Raymond retired from the Santa Fe Railroad. His co-workers, friends, and family could always find him downtown, standing on a corner watching life go by, with a toothpick hanging from his lips. He was heartbroken when Nancy passed away in 1990. Raymond passed away just months before turning 83 years of age. His father, William H. Adams, passed away at the age of 82 as well. Raymond was a gentle man, with a big heart, and a sense of mischieviousness in him that endeared him to many.
Raymond and Nancy Adams had one child together; a daughter, Betty Adams.
