December 19, 1933 ~ November 3, 2015 (age 81) Lora Joyce Clayton of Howell, MI, 81, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Howell, Michigan. She was born December 19, 1933 in Harlan County, Kentucky, the daughter of Robert & Nora (Anderson) Barton. Lora attended the Baptist Church. She married Charles Clayton, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her sons, James (Kim) Szegi, of Highland, MI, Richard “Karl” (Trisha) Szegi, of Jacksonville, FL; her daughter, Nancy Jo (Dennis) Irish of Chelsea; 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Jerry and Johnny Barton. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 7, 1:00 pm at Letcher Funeral Home in Whitesburg, Kentucky with Rev. Steve Stamper officiating. Burial will follow at the American Legion Cemetery in Whitesburg, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Friday, Nov. 6 from 6-9 pm at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.
