Obit - Corwin John Albert, 70, of Macon, IL. died 12:05 p.m. Thursday, Nov 9, 1995 in his home of Lou Gehrig's and heart disease.
Services will be 2:30 p.m. Monday in Bethlehem Presbyterian Church, Decatur, IL., with visitation one hour before services in the church. Burial will be in Cerro Gordo Cemetery. Memorials: Bethlehem Presbyterian Church, 4l35 Mount Auburn Road.
Mr Albert was born Oct. 17, 1925 in Macon County, the son of Earl and Thelma Barnett Albert. He was a retired farmer, a member of Bethlehem Presbyterian Church and a Korean War Army Veteran. He married Dorothy Eileen Hiser on April 6 1949 at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Md.
Surviving are his mother of Cerro Gordo; wife; son, Brian John Albert and wife Gayle of Macon, daughters, Judy L. Barnes and husband Stephen of Peoria; Carol Ann Ritter and husband Richard of Pana; brother, Dale Albert and wife Pat
and Adrian Albert and wife Lorraine, all of Oakley; George Albert and wife Linda and Carrol Albert and wife Peggy, all of Cerro Gordo; sisters, Gloria Ruch and husband Bob of Cerro Gordo; Eleanor Nickey and husband Harold of LaPlace; Betty Turner of Topeka, KS; Beverly Seitz and husband Richard and Sandra Brandenburg, all of Cerro Gordo and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Bernard "Bud" Albert.
