He was preceded in death by sister, Billie Marie McVicker.
Mr. Bishop is survived by his wife, Freddie Thompson Bishop; daughter, Nancy Byrd; sons, Charles H., Stephan A., and Mark A. Bishop;sister, Martha Neal; brother, Benny Gray Bishop and eight grandchildren.
