ALBA - Services for Jerry Don Adair, 65, Alba, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at Lake Fork Baptist Church, Alba, with Brother David Smith officiating.
Burial will be in Salem Cemetery under direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
Mr. Adair died April 9, 2007, at his residence.
He was born Aug. 2, 1941, in Rains County to the late Benson and Clarine Malone Adair and lived most of his life in Wood County. He was owner/operator of an overland transport business and a member of Lake Fork Baptist Church, Alba, and Yantis Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by a brother, Vandal Douglas Adair, and sisters, Ona Bell Adair and Poppy Robertson.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Jo Ann Pope Adair, Alba; sons, Brian Adair, Alba, and Jerry Scott Adair, Emory; daughter, Susan Byrd, Emory; sisters, Delores McAree and Betty Lou Childers, both of Emory; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and other relatives.
Pallbearers are Bub Adair, Deedee Adair, Ronnie Adair, Douglas Hass, Harl Dean Hass and Joe Dell Hass.
Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
