Eileen Mardell Bunch, 85, of Meredosia, died Sunday, June 24, 2007, at Heritage Manor East in Beardstown. She was born Oct. 10, 1921, in Perry, the daughter of Fred and Nora Little Campbell. She married Clifford Otis Bunch on Nov. 20, 1943, and he survives.
She is also survived by three sons and one daughter, Gary (wife, Anna) Bunch of Versailles, Karen Bettis of Toppenish, Wash., Joseph (wife, Mary) Bunch of Chapin, and Jack (wife, Rebecca) Bunch of New Berlin; eight grandchildren, Jerry (wife, Pam) Bunch of Rushville, Dianne Bunch of Denver, James (wife, Sheila) Bunch of Jacksonville, Kristy Bunch of Chapin, Renee Skillet of Chapin, Mike Bettis of Winchester, Teddy Bettis of Winchester and Jackie Gregory of Toppenish, Wash.; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and one sister, Rosalee Bunch of Meredosia. She was preceded in death by one sister, Bernadine Campbell.
Mrs. Bunch was a homemaker. She had attended the Meredosia Baptist Church, and loved crafts and decorating for the Christmas season. She and her husband enjoyed camping on Point 1 at Lake Jacksonville for many years.
Services were entrusted to Schaefer-Cody Funeral Home of Meredosia, Illinois.
