Charles Wright, one of the first councilmen of West Long Branch borough, died Wednesday of last week at his home at Portaupeck after a sickness of two weeks. He was 78 years old.
In his early life he was employed as a house mover and carpenter. For 21 years he was special officer at the Citizen's National bank at Long Branch. He retired two years ago. Surviving are a widow, one son and a daughter.
