The dead body of Mr. VanBrunt was found in a kneeling position in a corner of the room. His chin rested in the corner of the wall and this kept his body from falling to the floor. The bed in Mr. VanBrunt's room had been occupied. He had apparently got up to take some medicine and had been taken with a hemorrhage.
Mr, VanBrunt was born in Illinois, but had lived in this state 29 years. He was 43 years old. He was a widower and leaves two children.
