Two sisters, living within eight miles of each other in the shore section, died last week within twelve hours of each other. They were Mrs. Julia Van Dorn of Neptune, aged 84, and Mrs. Hannah Drake of Long Branch, aged 87. Mrs. Drake died on Tuesday at the Long Branch hospital of paralysis. Mrs. Van Dorn also died on Tuesday. She was a gold star mother, her son, Lieutenant Phil K. Van Dorn of Company H of Asbury Park, having been killed in France.
