Mrs. Chang was born September 15, 1920 in Daeku, South Korea, and had lived in Alamogordo since 1986.
Survivors include three daughters, Susan Woodruff and her husband Mike of Laurel, Maryland, Ok Song of Korea, and Kara Carrothers and her husband Vince of Alamogordo; a son Daesong Chang of Korea; and three grandchildren, Sean Carrothers of Alamogordo, and Jaeho Chang and Meesong Chang, both of Korea.
She was preceded in death by her husband Hackbong Chang in 1967.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Hamilton-O'Dell Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be conducted Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in the Little Chapel of the Desert, located on the campus of Christ Community Church, with Pastor Jack Brock officiating.
Inurnment will follow in the Little Chapel of the Desert Columbarium.
