Sharon Johns Barrie, 55, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2007. She was born October 26, 1951 in Jacksonville, FL to Eddie and Evelyn Johns. Mrs. Barrie was retired from the Clay County School Board and was a member of the Green Cove Springs Assembly of God. She loved her church and her grandchildren and will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Mrs. Barrie was preceded in death by a son, David Eugene Silcox and is survived by her children, Carl N. Silcox, Sr. (Tammy), Kenneth L. Silcox (Lynda) and Lora L. Rasmussen (Eric); brother, Everett James Johns; sister, Evelyn Johns Ellis; 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm Sunday, February 4, 2007 at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, February 5, 2007 in the Chapel of Broadus-Raines Funeral Home with Pastor Eddie Crutchfield, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Peoria Cemetery.
