"Mrs. Harry Adams, Resident of Akron
Mrs. Erma F. Adams, 68, of 514 Westview Drive, Akron, and a lifelong resident of Akron, died early Sunday morning at home after an illness of one year. She was the wife of Harry F. Adams. They celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary on Oct. 17, 1983. Born in Akron, she was the daughter of the late Harry H. and Mabel Weaver Reitz. She resided in Akron all of her life.
Mrs. Adams was an active member of Akron Church of the Brethren since 1928. She was a Sunday school teacher and active in church musical activities. She was also a member of the Brethren Home Auxiliary and Akron Church of the Brethren Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons: R. Vern, Brownstown, and V. Patrick, Stevens; three daughters, Vicky E., wife of Lloyd Witmer, New Holland; V. Cheryl Lausch, Akron; and Venessa A., wife of Nathan Buckwalter, Lititz; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a brother, Robert L. Reitz, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla."
