Mr. Allen was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine in February 1975 and his oldest son, Paul in November of 1979 and his youngest son, Morris in infancy.
He is survived by four sons, Bert of Tacoma, Washington; Keith of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Edwin of Des Moines and Earl of Dallas Center; two daughters, Lois Allen and Avis Fry both of Dallas Center, one sister and one brother, sixteen grandchildren and three great grandchilden.
