GRIDLEY:
William Anderson, 85, a retired farmer, died at 12:15 P.M. Thursday at his farm home in Money Creek Township near lake Bloomington. His funeral will be at 2 P.M. Sunday at Hinthorn Chapel at the south end of Lake Bloomington. The Rev. Samuel Kuntz will officiate and burial will be in the Hinthorn Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1 P.M. Saturday at the Frolion Memorial Home.

William was born August 2m 1874 in Hudson Township, a son of Francis M. and Delilah Isabell Hinthorn Anderson. He married Leona Kearfoot January 14, 1897. She died July 19, 1945. He spent his life farming in Gridley and Money Creek Townships.

Surviving are a son, Omer of Lexington; a daughter, Mrs. Erma Scarbeary of 505 E. Willow, Normal; three brothers, D E of Manchester, Iowa; John of Saybrook; Sam O. of Hudson; three sisters, Mrs. Hattie Jane Messer and Mrs. Ona Geiger of Lexington; Mrs. Herbert Hall of El Paso; three grand children and nine great grand children. He was a member of the Christian Church and was a trustee of Hinthorn Cemetery.
