Francis H. Alexander, SR, Leavenworth, KS passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2013. Francis was born January 30,1914 in East Leavenworth, MO the son of Henry Edgar and Constance (Poss) Alexander. On September 4, 1937 at Platte City, MO he married Mary L. Cannon. She preceded him in death on March 13, 2004. His survived by two sons, Frank H. Alexander, JR, and James E. Alexander, one daughter, Mary Lee Flanagan, nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren. He served in the United States Navy in World War II, retired from federal service and twenty five years of custom frame work. He will be greatly missed. Graveside service will be held 11 A.M. Monday, April 8, 2013 at the Platte City Cemetery, Platte City, MO. In lieu of flowers live plants would be appreciated. Davis Funeral Chapel is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
