Husband of Marie Trahan; member of Opelousas Militia in Revolutionary War; burial record at St Landry Church, Opelousas, LA [V1 p 77]

Antoine Bellard - A Fuselier (a term for soldiers) in the June 8, 1777 Opelousas Militia Rolls. He was 38 years old and married to Marie Trahan in the 1777 general census of Opelousas. Marie was age 29 and they had one son and two daughters: Simeon, age 10, Modeste, age 5 and Pelagie, age 2. He was from Picardie, France and was the son of Antoine Bellard and Marie Francois Galland. He died on 12 February 1805 at the age of 63 years.
