Funeral services for Douglas Berryhill, 72, of Frankston, were held at 4 p.m. Thursday, May 12, at the Bailey & Foster Funeral Home in Palestine with the Rev. James Engle officiating.
Burial was in the Olive Branch Cemetery.
Mr. Berryhill died Tuesday night, May 10, in a Palestine hospital.
He was born May 22, 1921 to William Clay Berryhill and Martha Yancey Berryhill and was a member of the Midway Baptist Church in Poynor.
Mr. Berryhill was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a painter in the oil field industry.
Survivors include his wife, Jolean Berryhill of Holiday Hills; two daughters, Charlotte Kourtney of Vidor, and Joyce Marshburn of Fort Worth; one son, Jerry Douglas Berryhill of Kilgore; one brother, Rawleigh Berryhill of Palestine; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Note: Husband of Jolean Berryhill and Son of William Clay and Martha Yancey Berryhill.
