One son, Noble, preceded her in death.

Children: Izella Salena Baker (Lena Bolen), Julia Ellen Baker (Julia Dunn), John Ernest Baker, Mary Ethel Baker (Mary Haney), Francis Marion Baker, William Fountain Baker (Fount Baker)

Louisa Jane Baker was born near Rolla, Mo., to Mary and William Keeney on August 1, 1869. She died at the home of her daughter in Houston on July, 31. 1955. Her age at the time of her death was 85 years, 11 months and 30 days.

On April 28, 1892 she was married to James Ross Baker of Houston. They resided in Houston all their married life. Mr. Baker preceded her in death on December 9, 1952. One son Noble, also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Baker professed faith in Christ at an early age and united with the Methodist Church. She remained a member of the Church until death.

She is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Lena Bolen of Van Buren; Mrs. Julia Dunn, of Pleasanton, Kansas, and Mrs. Mary Haney of Houston, three sons: Fount Baker of Ventura, California, and Marion and Ernest Baker of Blackwell Okla.; also two sisters. Mrs. Minnie Usery, Van Buren, and Mrs. Julia Baker of St Louis; two brothers, Ed and Sam Keeney of Van Buren, Mo.; 19 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted at the Oak Hill church by the Rev H. E. Trevathan of the Houston Methodist Church. Burial was in the Oak Hill cemetery under the direction of Elliott's of Houston at 2:00 p. m Tuesday, August 2.
