Mr. Nathaniel Abrams, Sr., "Nate" age 68, a native of Camden, AL and a resident of Theodore, AL peacefully passed on Friday, April 17, 2009, along side his devoted friend, Mr. Willie Sullivan. He was a retiree of the City of Mobile Sanitation Department and currently worked for Twin City and Kapps Security Services. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sip and Nettie Abrams and 1 son, Nathaniel Abrams, Jr. He is survived by a devoted wife, Lucrese Abrams, Theodore, AL; (1) daughter, Pamela (Willie) Carter, Mobile, AL; (1) son, Bryant Overton, Theodore, AL; (2) brothers, Willie Carson, Houston, TX and Joe Henry (Dell) Abrams of Mobile; 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Public viewing will be held Friday, April 24, 2009 at the Bell-Miller Memorial Chapel of Samuel L. Jackson's
Mortuary from 2 pm until 6 pm and Saturday, April 25, 2009 at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church (Washington Blvd.) from 9 am until the 11 am Homegoing Celebration with Rev. Howard Nelson, Officiating Pastor. Interment will follow in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. The final tribute and life celebration is entrusted to the Dignified Professionals of Samuel L. Jackson's Mortuary, 271 N. Cody Rd., Mobile, AL.
