Joyce was born in the Bud Community of Wayne County, KY. a daughter of the late Joseph and Nell Grayer Conley. She was a homemaker and retired loan coordinator for South Ky. RECC for 33 yrs. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Elmer Denton Alexander whom she married on Feb. 23, 1946 in Greenwood, IN and passed away on Sept. 25, 1999. She is survived by a son, Jerry Denton (&Maureen) Alexander of Indianapolis, IN; Three sisters Ruth McCurry and Barbara(&Bob) Ping both of Somerset, KY. and Patricia (&Tony)Rice of Dayton, OH. Two grandchildren Megan and Sean Alexander both of Indianapolis, IN.
