Age 85 of Crest Hill born January 20, 1921 at rest Saturday, September 16, 2006 at his home with his loving family at his side.
Survived by his wife, Ann F. (nee Zivaly); his children, Connie (Frank Coffman) Kraft of Elgin, IL, Bob (Eileen) of Franklin, WI; his daughter-in-law, Bonnie Albert; grand children, Deborah, David, Robert, Sarah, Daniel, James and John; great grandchildren, Alexia, Nicole, Emma, Lillian, Robert, Laura, Amber, Andrew, Kevin and Jillian; great great grandchild, Blake; his sisters, Elizabeth (the late John) Malnar, Gloria (the late Anton) Blazekovich; and his brother, Richard (Jean) Albert; his sisters-in-law, Cleo Albert, Patricia Albert, and Rose Mary Albert. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by parents, John Sr. and Connie Albert; his son, George Jr.; his brothers, Salvador (Celia), Chris (Marie), Clem (Susan), Mitchell , Dominick (Victoria), Edward, John; his sisters, Rose (Anton) Martino and Mary (Jack) Pluth.
U.S. Army veteran World War II, 34th Infantry Division serving in North Africa, Sicily and Italy, and was awarded the Bronze Star. Member American Legion Post #1080, Lockport V.F.W. Post Member of and former Usher St. Anne Church.

Retired from Reynolds Aluminum after 34 years of Service as a Quality Control Specialist.

From where services will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2006 9:30 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anne Church at 10:00 AM. Interment following at St. Mary Nativity Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday September 19, 2006 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM.
