ELDON AGEE

ILWACO Eldon A. Agee, 82, died July 8, 2013, at his Ilwaco residence with his family at his side. A native of Woodland, he was born there May 14, 1931, the son of Isaac and Martha (Whitlock) Agee.

Eldon attended Woodland schools and on Aug. 19, 1951, married Alice Gadbaw. They established their residence in Vancouver.

Eldon worked in plywood and lumber his entire working career. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and time with his family. Seven years ago he moved to Ilwaco. Eldon was a member of the Peninsula Church of The Nazarene.

Besides his wife of nearly 61 years, Eldon is survived by sons, Steven Michael Agee of Centralia and Gerald Allen "Jerry" Agee of Ilwaco; a sister, LaVonne Borroz of Castle Rock; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. His brothers, Lewis, Lloyd and Alvin preceded him in death.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3, at Peninsula Church of The Nazarene in Long Beach. Concluding graveside rites follow at Ilwaco Cemetery. Memorials may be made in his name to the church. His guest book is available at www.penttilaschapel.com.
