Born in Okinawa-ken, Nakagami-gun, Nakagusuku-son. Married Ankwai Arakaki in 1912.

Mrs. Arakaki
 Wake services will begin at 8 p.m. today in Hosoi Mortuary for Mrs. Ankwai Arakaki, 69, of Waianae. Funeral services are scheduled at 4:30 p.m. tomorrow at the mortuary. Burial will be in Makiki Cemetery.
 Mrs. Arakaki died yesterday at Kuakini Hospital. She was born Nov. 18, 1892 in Okinawa, Japan, and was a member of Nakagusuku Son Jinkai, Aza Tshuha [sic] Doshi Kai and Waianae Doshi Kai.
 Surviving are her husband; four sons, Ansei, Yasuo, Richard Yasuhiko and Alfred Yasunori Arakaki; a daughter, Mrs. Wayne (Lillian Shigeyo) Pettypool, and 12 grandchildren.
