Mary passed away at the age of 90. She was born in Mexico and was a lifelong resident of Madera.
Mary worked as a cook at Dearborn Hospital in Madera for 16 years before her retirement.
She was a member of St. Joachim Catholic Church.
Mary is survived by Victor Adame, her husband of 56 years; her son, James Martinez and his wife Sarah of Fremont; her daughters, Nadine Hernandez and her husband Louie of Los Gatos, and Marge Medellin Esquibel and Evelyn Lara and her husband Eddie, both of Madera; goddaughter, Lorrie Perez of Selma; brothers, John Lomeli of Santa Clara, and Jess Orozco of Selma; sisters, Trina Barrios of Napa, and Beatrice Mendoza and Delores Macias, both of Selma; 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
A Vigil Service will be at Jay Chapel, Madera, CA, on Thursday, February 22, 2007, at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joachim Catholic Church in Madera, CA, on Friday, February 23, 2007, at 11:00 a.m.
Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Madera, CA.
Remembrances may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
