PEARL, Ill. -- Ethel Mae Akers, 86 of Pearl died at 3:50 a.m. Monday (Sept. 3, 2001) in Illini Community Hospital in Pittsfield.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry D. and Doris Akers of Pearl; grandchildren, Roger and Peggy Akers and Debra and John Dunn; and great-grandchildren, Christopher, Jennifer and Jill Akers, and Kelli, Carrie and John J. Dunn.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Pearl Church of Christ by Brother Wilson Ramsey. Burial will be in Green Pond Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Hanks-Gubser Funeral Home in Pearl.

Memorials may be made to Pearl Church of Christ or Green Pond Cemetery.
