Wayne Barfield, 73, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2013, in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Graveside service will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday, January 28, 2013, at Cumby Cemetery in Park Springs, Texas.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 til' 6:00 p.m. Sunday, January 27, 2013, at the White Family Funeral Home.
Arrangements are entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home of Bowie.
Wayne was born March 18, 1939 to Herman and Anna Ruth (Woods) Barfield in Fort Worth, Texas. He worked for Central Air Lines in Fort Worth, and later for Ling Temco Vought (LTV) for over 25 years. Wayne married Margie Ann Earp on January 17, 1959 in Fort Worth. Wayne enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing, and was an avid coin collector.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Anna Barfield.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Margie Barfield of Bellevue; daughter, Connie Sue Montgomery and husband, Mike of Bellevue; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
