|Death: ||Jun. 6, 1867|
Dearest wife thou hast left us for the dark and silent tomb, Closed thine eyes in dreamless slumber faded in thine early bloom. Thy husband mourns thy sister's weep o'er thy lone grave, where thou dost sleep our God thy promise. Thou hast given in thee we trust to meet in heaven. The night dew that falls though in silence it weeps. Shall brighten with verdure the grave where she sleeps, and the tears the lie shed though in secret they roll. Shall ever keep, her memory green on souls.
