The funeral of Mrs. Laura Boyette, 83, was held Thursday at 5 p.m., in Zion Hill cemetery in Winnfield, with Rev. Alvin S. Stokes, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, officiating.

Mrs. Boyette died at midnight Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. E. Lenard, in Brownville, after a long illness.

Mrs. Boyette was a native of Winnfield, but had resided for the past year with her daughter in Brownville.

She leaves five sons and three daughters: W. D. Boyette, Coushatta; F. R. Boyette, Seattle, Wash.; Harvey Boyette, Athens, La.; Bailey and Ben Boyette, Winnfield; Mrs. J. E. Lenard, Brownville; Mrs. G. H. Hughes, Taylor, Ark., and Miss Mae Boyette, Winnfield.
