age 63, of Brodhead, Kentucky, husband of Pearlie passed away Sunday, October 2nd, 2011 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Ray was born on May 18th, 1948 in Brush Creek, Kentucky; a son of the late Arthur Alcorn and Gracie Higgins Alcorn. On February 21st, 1999 he was married to Pearlie Brumett. Ray was a lineman for the Fishel Construction Co. for seventeen years. He enjoyed the outdoors and working on cars. He was a member of the Ottawa Baptist Church.
Ray is survived by: His wife, Pearlie Alcorn of Brodhead, KY; six children, Billy Ray Alcorn (Katie) of Mt. Vernon, KY; Clara Renner (Bobby) of Mt. Vernon, KY; Judy Alcorn of Brodhead, KY; Cathleen Brock (Charles) of London, KY; Mike Alcorn of Mt. Vernon, KY and Jason Stewart (Crystal) of Mt. Vernon, KY; eleven grandchildren, Savannah Renner and (Fiancé Billy Jack McFerron), Matt Renner, Brandon Alcorn, Robyn Lovell, Scotty Alcorn, Rick Lovell, Charles Brock, Jr., Nathan Alcorn, Charles Alcorn, Anthony Alcorn and Jalon Stewart; two great grandchildren, Alexis Renner and Jadyn Alcorn; five brothers, Estill Alcorn of Mt. Vernon, KY; Virgil Alcorn of Mt. Vernon, KY; Jimmy Alcorn (Mary Helen) of Mt. Vernon, KY; Ernest Alcorn (Clara) of Mt. Vernon, KY and Darrell Alcorn (Crystal) of Mt. Funeral services for Mr. Arthur Ray Alcorn will be conducted on Wednesday, October 5th, 2011 at 2 P.M. at the Ottawa Baptist Church with Bro. Jim Craig officiating. Burial will follow in the Ottawa Cemetery.
