Martha, nee Erdmann, Eppler, a resident of the Ohiowa and Bruning communities for 85 years, departed this life at Hebron, Ne., November 2, 1957, at the age of 85 years, 7 months and 27 days
Mrs. Eppler was born in Germany March 6, 1872, the daughter of Ernest and Emelia Molthan. At the age of two weeks she emigrated with the parents to America.
On October 16, 1888, she was joined in marriage to Louis Eppler at St. John's Lutheran church, now Grace Lutheran church. Five children were born to this union. The three oldest children preceded their mother in death. The two youngest remain to mourn her passing.
She lived in the Ohiowa and Bruning communities since coming to America. Her husband preceded her in death on January 6, 1949. She passed away at the Hebron hospital on November 2, after suffering a heart attack.
Close relatives who mourn the passing of Mrs. Eppler are the twin daughters, Rosa Schoenholz and Emelia Johnson, both of Bruning; one sister, Ida Sallomon of Strang and one brother, Henry Molthan of Ohiowa.
