PRAETZEL - Jerome K. October 10, 2012, beloved husband of June R. (Meiler); loving father of Allan Praetzel and Gary D. (Carol) Praetzel; brother of the late Henry Praetzel.
Private services were held.
Mr. Praetzel was a WW II veteran, having participated in the D-Day Invasion. He retired from General Electric after 47 years as a Field Engineer, often traveling overseas on assignments. Both he and his wife June were active in St. Andrew's Lutheran Church in Buffalo and later St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Cheektowaga.
