BEAN, Joseph Louie, age 78 of Manchester, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2009 at the United Regional Medical Center. He had farmed most of his life and later worked as a "Greeter" at Wal-mart for the past nine years until August of 2009. He was born on December 10, 1930 in Grundy County, Tennessee to his parents, the late Floyd Otis Bean and Ethel Sartain Bean. He enjoyed gardening, farming, "life in general" and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Manchester. He is survived by his loving wife, Wilda Bean of Manchester, TN; daughters, Diane Bean Argraves (Bob) of Manchester, TN and Barbara Hamrick of Tullahoma, TN; five grandchildren, Misty Goodman and Adam Tigue both of Tullahoma, Daniel Argraves of Manchester, Bobby Argraves of New Market, AL and Jason Argraves of Bellbrook, OH; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mae Lark of Manchester and Louise Medley of Knoxville, TN; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. The Family received friends at the Visitation on Monday evening, November 23, 2009 from 6 - 9:00 P.M. A Graveside Service was conducted on Tuesday morning, November 24, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at the Fredonia Cemetery with Dr. Brenton Cox and Reverend Scott Whaley officiating. CENTRAL FUNERAL HOME in Charge of Arrangements.
