SHELBYVILLE — Lorraine Alexander, 76, of Shelbyville, died at 12:49 a.m. Friday, December 17, 2004 in Shelby Memorial Hospital, Shelbyville.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Shelbyville with Father Don Wolford officiating. Visitation one hour before services in the church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Pana. Arrangements by Howe & Yockey Funeral Home in Shelbyville. Memorials may be given to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Shelbyville.
Mrs. Alexander was born on April 19, 1928 in Jeiseyville, Illinois, the daughter of John and Sophie Delattre Overlot Hilbert. She graduated from Pana High School in the Class of 1945 and worked for Kull Floral Shop in Shelbyville for many years. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Shelbyville. She married Virgil Alexander on June 30, 1949.
Surviving are her husband, Virgil of Shelbyville; sons, Kerry Alexander and wife Anna of Collierville, Tennessee, Dennis Alexander and wife Melissa of Neoga and Tom Alexander of Mattoon; brother, Henry Hilbert of Venice, Florida; sister, Marge Lee and husband Max of Northport, Florida; and two grandchildren, Jason Alexander of Southhaven, Mississippi and Whitney Olemsted of Mattoon.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
