Bigley, John - January 10, 1907- After a long and useful life extending over 76 years, Mr. John Bigley of Paint Township died from a complication of diseases at his home on Monday, January 7, 1907. He was born at Leatherwood, Clarion County, December 8, 1830 and was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Bigley. He settled in Paint Township many years ago. He has been a resident of Clarion County all of his life. He was married to Miss Hannah Kelly in Richland Township in 1849 and to them were born 12 children, seven of whom survive as follows; David S.,Clarion; James, Ohio; M.L. Bigley, Leechburg; Mrs. J.W. Kirkwood, Allegheny County; Henry Bigley, Paint Township; Mrs. Ida M. Reed, Loleta, Forest County. The deceased was well known throughout this section and commanded the respect and confidence of all who knew him. The funeral services will take place at Shippenville Friday morning and will be conducted by Rev. Wm. F. Fleming of Clarion. The interment will be made in the Shippenville Cemetery.
